Before starting a publisher, I was wishing to use eco-papers for the books to publish. 

There are various eco-papers, made from reused material or non-wood plants which are normally to be discarded. Recycled paper can be eco-friendly in regard to Forest Protection, but it consumes a lot of energy for bleaching. For this reason, it is hard to find eco-papers good for books. 

While searching for and looking at many different kinds of eco-papers, I turned my attention to non-wood eco-papers. But then there are not so many that has been used for books. There was one that was made from bamboo forest thinning. They have distinct texture and been already used for brochures and some books. 

As I wanted to make a book to be cherished for long time, I tried hard to find a printing company that can accommodate my wish. Printing companies I inquired were very nice and tried to find a way to print with bamboo papers. But for the scale of publication, there wasn't any to fit within our budget. Then, finally I realized that eco-friendly books are very costly products. I spent for a whole month to decide to use normal papers. The printing company I chose for the first book was very nice and kind, I am very happy about this. But in this experience, I felt I had to dig over the book making processes.
