Last Saturday afternoon, we held the third live talk on “Healing the Enemy” at a "machi-library" (In literally translated, "machi" means a town, but a machi library is a small-scale library for neighbors, owned and operated either privately or organizationally) near the Yaho-station on the Nanbu-line. As there weren't so many entries, it was going to be a small group of people attending the talk. But to my pleasant surprise, we had two walk-in participants, ended up with having 7 guests for 8 seats.

This time, I prepared some questions to the participants so that we can discuss together. The first question was "What story do you imagine when you see the title 'At the time when a villain to be healed' in the Japanese translation?" It helped us break the ice and warm us up for further discussion.

The machi-library was located on the corner of an old shopping street called "Kunitach Daiya-gai". On the second floor of an old two-story building, it has an open-timbered roof. It was a rainy day but the sound of rain on roof was somehow soothing, setting up cozy time and space.

We had so many freewheeling ideas and sharp opinions, which were so precious for me. And I am very grateful for having such a great time.
